Overview
At Sefapane River Lodge we invite you to disconnect from your daily stressful environment. Check-in your technology and detox from the worries of life
From the moment you arrive at Sefapane River Lodge, you are able to see, feel, hear & smell the tangible raw beauty of the Greater Kruger National Park. The lodge is accessed via a private transfer departing from Sefapane River Lodge in Koper Road, Phalaborwa. Our handpicked team of management and guides are passionate about their life in the bush and would love to share with you their ethical approach to conservation through education.
Launched in January 2014, the 10-bed Sefapane River Lodge is located on the banks of the Olifants River in a private game reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Elephant, Buffalo and Hippo are free-roaming residents around the unfenced lodge and our goal is to further open your eyes to the environment in which these magnificent beasts live. Our guides pay attention to the detail of the bush and the rich biodiversity of the area and take time to educate our visitors in a casual setting about ecosystems, the geology hotspots, the birds, the insects, the botany, the animals and the sky. Sefapane River Lodge guests walk away with a memorable experience and a deeper understanding of nature and conservation in Africa.
Accommodation
Sefapane River Lodge offers accommodation in 5 beautifully appointed, spacious Rondavels, each accommodating a maximum of 2 guests. All Rondavels have riverfront or bushveld views and are nestled under the indigenous trees on a rocky outcrop overlooking the mighty Olifants River. Sefapane River Lodge accommodates an exclusive amount of 10 guests at any given time, creating a safari that is uninterrupted by masses of tourists. The 5 comfortable rondavels are nestled under indigenous trees, providing a shaded retreat from the African sun. Views of the Olifants River can be admired from the rondavels private porch.
