At Nkambeni Safari Camp we are committed to the preservation of pristine wilderness areas and providing you with the true experience of the wonderful scenery of the Lowveld of Mpumalanga.Nkambeni Tented Camp offers a wide range of outstanding facilities to make your stay in the Kruger Park an enjoyable and true nature experience. There are tons of activities in and around the Kruger National Park for you to experience the wonderful scenery the Lowveld has to offer.

Nkambeni Safari Tented Camp
The accommodation at Nkambeni Safari Camp consists of 146 beautifully appointed luxury timber and canvas tented suites.
- Two extra length beds.
- Two fold out bunk beds for the kids.
- Bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower.
- Air conditioner.
- Self-help coffee station in each room.
No concrete and no foundations means no damage! In addition, the construction is low maintenance and this means that annual levies will remain well below industry norms. Combine these principles with luxury and comfort and enjoy the accommodation at Nkambeni Tented Lodge. Construction at Nkambeni Tented Lodge conforms to the highest standards of low impact eco-friendly criteria.
Buffalo Rock Tented Camp
Buffalo Rock Tented Camp is set in an area of unspoiled natural beauty, and is rich in bird and animal life. We have assured clients privacy here, other than of course the nocturnal visitors such as leopard and hyena who are often seen around the camp. We are situated in a game rich area of the Kruger National Park, which means that sighting of the Big 5 is more likely. But its more than just game – its fun too – due to sundowners, the sunsets, the wild animal sounds of the night and dinner under the stars.
All 12 Buffalo Rock units are permanent safari style tents and the camp layout offer views on the surrounding Kruger National Park. All meals are included and served in the open air Boma. We offer morning and afternoon open vehicle safaris, bushwalks and bush braais – all inside the Kruger National Park on an 11500 hectare traversing area. All activities are subject to availability and weather permitting.

- Walk-in Safari tents with comfortable stretcher beds, double-thick mattresses, linen, duvets, blankets and towels. Hotel amenities supplied. Hot water bottles in winter!

Accommodation is in comfortable walk-in safari tents with the best possible portable bush showers and toilets. All camping arrangements are taken care of by support staff.
Leave Johannesburg at about 07h00 and head east towards the vast Wilderness of the Kruger National Park. You would need to be in Hazyview at 12h30, where you’ll will meet the guide and climb aboard an open safari vehicle and be taken to the camp.

- A fully licensed bar area.
- A lounge area where you can enjoy a sundowner with your friends and family.
- A large swimming pool and leisure area overlooking a dam where Hippo and other wildlife often visit.
- A Lapa for evening braais ideal for larger groups and / or functions. Typical African entertainment can be arranged on request.
- An African curio shop.
- Overlander facilities and ablutions for overlander stay overs.
- Then of course, our excellent tented accommodation.

“We had a very nice stay at this tented camp. This camp is located just outside Numbi Gate, but still within Kruger Park. Disadvantage of this location is that you’re not surroundend by the Park and thus always have to go the same way into the park (at least at the start of your safari). Other than that, location is very good. Staff was very friendly.
Our tent was incredibly comfortable. A very nice bed and a luxurious feel to the tent. We even had three showers in total, one inside and 2 outside showers (attached to the bathroom). We showered at the same time and both had sufficient hot water.” – Elke v
